We grade with drainage in mind first, because a beautiful surface that holds water becomes a problem later. We shape slopes intentionally, set transitions cleanly, and fine grade so the final surface is ready for gravel, concrete prep, sod, seed, or landscaping.

Trenching requires accuracy and a serious commitment to safety. We perform trenching for utilities and drainage with clean lines, consistent depths, and jobsite practices that protect people and property.

Before trenching begins, we coordinate or confirm utility marking and safe-dig requirements. The national standard for preventing underground utility strikes is contacting 811 before you dig so lines can be marked. For trench safety, OSHA requires protective systems in many cases and competent-person inspections.

Backfilling is where a lot of projects fail when done incorrectly. Poor backfill or insufficient compaction can cause settling, drainage issues, and long-term structural problems.

We backfill in a controlled way using suitable material and proper lift thickness when compaction is required. We can also coordinate with your project requirements if compaction testing is specified.
